How to keep garlic dry and fresh for longer than ever

A quick post about storing garlic:

Never store garlic in the refrigerator, it encourages moisture and your garlic will mold faster. 

Always store your garlic in a well ventilated container (like a basket or paper bag - never the plastic bag from the store!). 

Garlic hates moisture - it will make it age and mold faster. 

So my secret is to store it in a basket and a silica packet in there with it!
(you can find these in almost any purse, bag, suitcase, or wallet for sale. I save the ones from items that I buy.)
